APPEAR AT THE ALVARADO MUNICIPAL COURT ON OR BEFORE THE DUE DATE ON THE TICKET. YOU MAY POST MARK YOUR PAYMENT BY U.S. MAIL ON OR BEFORE THE DUE DATE OF YOUR TICKET. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY RESULT IN A WARRANT BEING ISSUED FOR YOUR ARREST.

IF YOU WISH TO REQUEST TO TAKE THE DEFENSIVE DRIVING COURSE YOU MUST CONTACT THE COURT AND PAY THE COURT COSTS BEFORE THE DUE DATE ON YOUR CITATION AND BEFORETAKING THE COURSE.

Overview

The City Council has a Mayor, Mayor Pro-Tem, and five council members.

Responsibilities

City Council enacts local legislation, adopts budgets, determines policies and appoint the City Manager, who in turn shall be held responsible to the City Council for the execution of the laws and the administration of the government of the City.
